This is a very fine range of hog tools but at a lower price than Series A. They are made from a very high grade of Chinese Chungking bristle and are similar to Series A. There are four shapes of brushes in this range, and they all sell at the same price. Seamless nickelled brass ferrules. Long ivory polished handles.

A filbert is a narrow, flat brush with hairs that come to a rounded point. Used on its side, a filbert gives a thin line; used flat it produces a broad brush stroke; and by varying the pressure as you apply the brush to canvas, or flicking it across, you can get a tapering mark.
