Pro Arte Renaissance Sable Rigger Brushes.  Pro Arte Renaissance re-launched the artist's sable to run alongside their highly sucessful Prolene.  Rennaisance is designed to please the purists who insist on traditional sable with it's wonderful colour holding ability.  What pleases them even more is the price.  Renaissance is around half the price of competing quality specification.  It feature a generous filament in a gold plated ferrule which is finished with handsome dark green handles. Renaissance is affordable sable.

A rigger or liner brush is a thin brush extremely long bristles. These may come to a sharp point, have a flat or square tip, or be angled. Rigger brushes are great for producing fine lines with a consistent width, making them ideal for painting thin branches on trees, boat masts, or cat's whiskers. They're also good for writing or signing your name on a painting.
